The CW has added two more projects that could be in the lineup next season.
A remake of “La Femme Nikita” is in the works, and Amy Sherman-Palladino, who created “Gilmore Girls,” has signed on to create a new comedy/drama.
Both projects are in the early stages, so there are few details. Both series would be produced by Warner Bros. TV for The CW.
“Nikita” is being developed by the team that produces “Supernatural.” The 1990 French action flick “La Femme Nikita” was remade as an American film in 1993 as “Point of No Return” and again as a TV series that ran on the USA Network from 1997 to 2001 starring Peta Wilson.
In the upcoming update, special agent Nikita goes rogue and a new assassin is trained to take her place.
