The Gulf Council of the Boy Scouts of America is hosting a Sci-Fi Convention Saturday at the Tampa Convention Center and the list of B-actors from films and television is downright staggering:

First there is Gil Gerard star of “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century” along with Erin Gray who co-starred as Wilma Deering and Felix Silla who was the robot Twiki. Silva also played Cousin It on “The Addams Family.”

From “Star Trek” will be Grace Lee Whitney, BarBara Lund, Malachi Throne and Sean Kenny. Whitney was the lovely Yeoman Rand in 8 episodes.

From the “Land of Giants” are Don Matheson, Don Marshall, Gary Conway, Heather Young , Deanna Lund.

From “2001 Space Odyssey” are Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood. 

From “Lost in Space” is Mark Goddard

From “Police Academy” will be Michael Winslow (This isn’t a Sci-Fi movie but sound effects whiz Winslow is out of this world).

From the horror film “Howling VI” is Michele Matheson

Going way back to “Father Knows Best’’ is Lauren Chapin

And there will Debi Storm from “Adam-12″

There will be wrestlers, too:  Jimmy Hart, Greg Valentine and Jim Neidhart

The event begins at 9:30 a.m.  There will be vendors, a costume contest and an auction. Stars will be signing autographs.  The event ends at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets at the door $25.00 Youth Scouts in uniform are $10.00 with a paid adult.
