Spike TV Plans Original “Hawaii Five-0” Marathon

Cashing in on the buzz over CBS’s revival of “Hawaii Five-O,’ Spike TV (owned by CBS) will show 225 episodes of the original 1968-69 season of the crime drama that ran 12 years. The marathon begins on Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The episodes will continue daily through Friday, September 3. Spike TV’s marathon will also feature special previews of the new series, which opens on CBS on Monday, Sept. 20. Spike TV’s marathon of the classic series will also feature special previews of the new series.

The original starred the late Jack Lord as Detective Steve McGarrett. The new version stars Alex O’Loughlin as McGarett. Also in the cast are Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park,
