Update: According to Jackson, Miss. meteorologist Barbie Bassett, there are 12 women who are chief meteorologists at TV stations in America. Apparently, it’s been an old boys club for a long time. When Tammie Souza joins WTSP, Channel 10, in Octoner. there will be 13.
In a shameless attempt to run up the number of eyeballs checking out WaltTV here are some photos of them:
I’ll keep updating until I find all 12.
Kristine Kahanek, Dallas

Katie Horner, Kansas

Amy Freeze: Chicago

Barbie Bassett: Jackson, Miss.

Tammie Souza, Coming to Tampa:

Tammie’s sister, Patty: Sacramento:

Erin Christiansen: Tuscon
