Fox has posted a behind-the-scenes video of a photo shoot involving the 12 female “American Idol” semi-finalists.

Included is Janell Wheeler, from Tampa, who says she is known for her smile. See more of the “Sunshine Cowgirl.”

From 8 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, the 12 female semifinalists will take the stage for the first time to perform live for the judges and the nation. On this season’s first night of voting, the women will sing their hearts out in hopes of winning America’s vote and surviving another week in the competition.

From 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, the 12 male semifinalists will sing their hearts out live for America and the judges. After the performances, America will vote, and on the first live results show airing from 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday, four semifinalists – two women and two men – will be eliminated from the competition and sent home.
