Claudio Sanchez believes in the concept of concept albums. His band’s name, Coheed and Cambria, comes from a pair of characters in the sci-fi story that unfolds across the band’s four albums.
Sanchez also tells the story in a series of comic books called “The Amory Wars.”
Fittingly, Sanchez will make an appearance Thursday at comic book shop Emerald City in Seminole, prior to Coheed and Cambria’s concert at Jannus Landing that night.
Sanchez will be at Emerald City, 9249 Seminole Blvd. in Seminole, between 1-2 p.m. Call (727) 398-2665.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and also features Secret Machines and Russian Circles. Jannus Landing is at 16 Second St. N. in St. Petersburg. Call (727) 896-2276.
