It happened like this: in the car the other day, a song came on the radio. And before my wife and I could change the channel, my daughter heard it and said, “Hey, I like this. Can I please keep listening to it?” And my wife and I looked at each other. And we made a Fateful Decision. We kept the song on.
Two weeks later, when I came home from work last night, my daughter still remembered the song and started singing it while playing with her dolls. I thought I had left this behind in the ‘80s. No such luck. The song is in the video below. Just click on it. You know you want to.
But be warned, there is only one thing proven to drive this song from your head, and that thing is “Take On Me” by A-ha.
