CNN has reported that Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) pulled out of a scheduled interview on Larry King. Reportedly McCain is miffed over the way the network has been covering his Veep nominee Sarah “The Hottie” Palin, especially a Campbell Brown interview with a McCain during which Brown asked for examples of a foreign-policy decision made by Republican vice president pick Sarah Palin.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer said Tuesday that the campaign told the news network they thought Brown’s interview with spokesman Tucker Bounds was “over the line.” CNN said it disagreed and it is committed to covering both sides of issues
Shortly after this report broke, ABC News announced that it has “the only interview” with the candidate during the Republican National Convention. That will be tonight with Charlie Gibson.
The anger level must be high for McCain to miss a chance to be kissed-up to by King. Like this is the first time some one was added to a ticket for cosmetic reasons. Remember Dan Quayle? And he did all right because, after all, how much damage can a vice president do?
Oh yeah, she would be one heart beat away from being President but Ms. Mooseburger looks like she could handle it. And just what kind of foriegn policiy experience did George W. Bush have before he took office? Whoops. Bad example.
The TV types on broadcast and cable keep pounding away at her 17-year-old daughter’s pregnancy which is only relevant because Palin had a history of advocating absteinence for teens instead of sex education that includes contraceptives. Those of us who have been to high school know how well that works. Right.
We get it. Enough already. Let the poor kid be. She’s going to have enough trouble getting married before she finishes high school. But you have to wonder about Ma’s judgment here in jumping into the mosh pit of the presidential race knowing that she would be throwing her daughter to the wolves. Those Alaskans are tough.

There you go “Belching” again. I’d tell you to stick with writing about entertainment, and leave politics alone, but you really need to retire from writing altogether before you’re laid off too. Your column is one of the reasons that daily print media is dying.
