Mark Heimann, executive chef at The Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club in St. Petersburg, has created a three-course “Classic Dining & Cocktails” menu for Marchand’s Bar & Grill that celebrates the year the original Vinoy Park Hotel opened in 1925.
You might remember that Heimann came up with the clever Seinfeld-themed dinner at Marchand’s in February in honor of Jerry Seinfeld’s performance at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.
The latest themed meal, offered for $19.25 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and paired with Gallo Family Vineyards wines, features such classics as:
Beef short rib Bourguignon and a wedge salad.
Roast chicken breast, wild mushroom & vegetable Fricassee with scalloped potatoes
Raspberry Napoleon
My favorite: Grilled Atlantic Salmon with creamed leeks, beurre rouge sauce and frittes.
