Lady Gaga Dominates MTV Music Video Awards Nominations

MTV is going ga ga over Lady Gaga.  The pop singer has racked up thirteen nominations for the networks Video Music Awards which were announced today. She’s got nods for “Best Pop Video,” “Best Female Video” and “Best Dance Music Video” for her chart-topping hit “Bad Romance.”

The “2010 MTV Video Music Awards” on Sunday, September 12, should be a crowd pleaser with Gaga and boy wonder Justin Bieber on the stage. Bieber is nominated for “Best New Artist” for his hit single “Baby”

Gaga has the most nominations ever for a single VMA as well as being the first female artist nominated for two different videos in the “Video of the Year” category for “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” featuring Beyoncé.

Eminem is this year’s most nominated male artist with eight including for “Best Male Video,” and “Video of the Year” for “Not Afraid.” VMA newcomer Ke$ha is up for three Moonmen for “Tik Tok” while up and coming rapper B.o.B has five nominations including in the “Best Hip-Hop” category for “Airplanes” against “Forever” by Drake.
