Is Piers Morgan, the sometimes affable, frequently snarky judge, on “America’s Got Talent,” going to replace Larry King?
And if so, where does that leave “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest?
An article in today’s Los Angeles Times has people talking. (Well at least people in my office.)
The Times is reporting that Morgan has renegotiated his deal with NBC that keeps him at the judging table on the popular NBC talent show for another three years. It also reportedly allows him to talk to CNN about replacing King, who announced his retirement a few weeks ago.
According to the article, Morgan’s duties for “America’s Got Talent” will take “precedence over any responsibilities he will have at CNN.”
Let the talking begin.
