So here’s how something terrible could lead to something good.
The other day, my wife borrowed some movies from a friend, and one of those movies was Over Her Dead Body, which stars Eva Longoria Parker. As fate would have it, I had actually reviewed that movie earlier this year, and knew it was awful. But my wife is one of those movie people who just has to see for herself (I’m the same way), and so I sat through it again.
Ugh.
But, there is one song in the movie that is worth pointing out, particularly if you are a fan of romantic (ironic) pop. It’s from Camera Obscura, the Scottish band. Here’s the video, with a great deadpan delivery by lead singer Tracyanne Campbell.
