Guy Fieri, star of Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” will host “Perfect 10,” a new NBC game show based on doing household chores.
Fieri, a chubby spiked-hair foodie, will be involved in the casting. Auditions will be held at stops on his current “Road Show” (a stage event that involves cooking, music and Guy performing). He isn’t coming to Florida.
NBC calls Fieri a perfect fit for the show, saying his “enthusiasm is infectious.”
NBC has ordered eight episodes in which contestants will be challenged to perform “deceptively simple” household tasks. Each contestant gets 10 tasks that they must complete in 1 minute.
No air dates have been set, but it’s likely this will be filmed quickly to be ready to replace one of the network’s new shows when it faces mid-season cancellation.
