“Lost” may have stumped fans last night, but it did so eloquently.

The show was chock-full of memorable lines. Here are a few:

Juliet to Sawyer:  “I have to tell you something. It’s really, really important.” Then she dies.

Jin to Sun: “Button your sweater up.”

Locke to Ben after he was Smoke Monster killing people:  “I’m sorry you had to see me like that.”

Sawyer to Hurley: “You shouldn’t tell people you’re a lotto winner they might take advantage of you.”

Hurley to Sawyer: “Nothing ever happens to me I’m the luckiest man alive.” 

Locke to Ben: “Let’s not resort to name-calling.”

When Jack inquires about Locke’s paralysis on the plane – 

Locke: “My condition is irreversible.”

Jack: “Nothing is irreversible.”

When Jacob visits Hurley in the jungle –

Jacob: Your friend won’t be able to see me.

Hurley: Why not?

Jacob: I died an hour ago.

Hurley: Sorry dude, that sucks. How’d you die?

Jacob: I was killed by an old friend who grew tired of my company. 

Hurley: You want me to do something crazy again, don’t you?

Charlie after Jack resuscitates him: “You should have let it happen, man. I was supposed to die.”

Jack to Rose on the plane: “Looks like we made it.”

Juliet to Sawyer: “It didn’t work. We’re still on the island. I hit the bomb, but you’re still here.”
