Forum: Talk Rays
|
Not much in the way of player transactions lately, but a couple of former members of the Rays organization have been on the move the last couple of days.
First, former Tampa Bay pitching coach Chuck Hernandez is the new bullpen coach in Cleveland.
Also, longtime Devil Rays front office man Scott Proefrock left the Orioles after three seasons to become an assistant GM in Philadelphia. Proefrock will join a Phillies front office that includes his former boss, Chuck LaMar, who was recently bumped up from a special assistant role to assistant GM under Ruben Amaro Jr.
