Tampa rapper Plies will make an in-store appearance 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Best Buy, 1725 N. Dale Mabry, to promote his album “Definition of Real,” which is being released today.
In November, Plies was in north Tampa filming a music video for his single “I Am The Club,” a track about success and the confidence that came from his last album, “Real Testament,” which went gold.
“I want to be hood-connected, but I’ve worked too hard to be in the projects,” he said at the shoot. “Music is only 15 percent of my life. I have other things to be concerned with, like supporting my family, dealing with the loss of family or friends, and letting people know it’s cool to not go to jail.”
“Definition of Real” features the single “Bust It Baby, Part 2,” featuring Ne-Yo.
