In one of those “WTF”-moments that makes us giddy as schoolchildren, Take-Two Interactive has announced a partnership with influential indie-music Web site Pitchfork Media for the upcoming game, “Major League Baseball 2K8.”
What does it mean when a trendy music tastemaker and a sports video game come together? How does an in-game soundtrack featuring Sub Pop and Matador bands strike your fancy?
The game, which drops March 4, will include music by Dinosaur Jr., LCD Soundsystem, Modest Mouse, The Hold Steady, The Cure and The Strokes to name a few.
