USF CAMPUS - Who doesn’t like a good party? WUSF Public Broadcasting is planning one for young and old alike.
The party will be held to celebrate the launch of WUSF Kids, a new TV channel focusing on children. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. Oct 24 in TV Studio A at the WUSF Public Broadcasting headquarters, 4202 E. Fowler Ave.
A lot of fun activities are planned for children, including a meet-and-greet with Maya and Miguel, characters from the PBS program.
WUSF Public Broadcasting recently debuted WUSF Kids in the Tampa and St. Petersburg areas. The public broadcasting channel airs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers familiar and new PBS programming as well as series by American Public Television.
For more information about the party, contact Nicole Hawker at (813) 228-0652.
