For years, coinciding with the approach of his second inaugural, certain critics of George W. Bush slathered vehicle bumpers with messages of liberation: 1-20-2009, The End of an ERROR.
Well. Today, spotted on State Road 54 in Land O’ Lakes, plastered on the back window of a minivan festooned, also, with a telling decal – United States Army – was a message voicing similar impatience for deliverance. On a white background was the iconic red-and-blue profile of the Republican elephant alongside, in bold red numerals, simply this: 2012.
Plainly, the game is afoot.
