Quarles Sits Out Again
Starting middle linebacker Shelton Quarles missed his second full-day of practice with a minor ankle sprain.
Second-year linebacker Barrett Ruud is playing with the first team in Quarles’ absence. Earlier today, Coach Jon Gruden said Quarles could return Wednesday.
Defensive tackle Chris Hovan could also return to practice Wednesday. He’s missed two straight days with a cut that became infected.
