The “Golden Goose” isn’t the golden boy today.
Receiver Chas Gessner struggled to hold onto the ball during one-on-one drills with the defensive backs. Gessner muttered to himself after dropping a pass while cornerback Juran Bolden defended him.
One of the darlings of camp early on didn’t do much in his first preseason game with the Bucs. The converted lacrosse player faces an uphill battle for a roster spot because of the extreme depth at the receiver position.
