The Bucs tooketh, but then appeared to giveth away. Two plays after forcing and recovering a fumble, Cadillac Williams fumbled on second-and-11 from the Bucs 18-yard line.
Tampa Bay challenged the ruling on the field and on replays, it appeared Williams was down before the ball popped loose. The Bucs won the challenge when officials said he was down by contact, giving the Bucs’ offense new life. Williams picked up a first down on the next play, but the Bucs were ultimately forced to punt and didn’t capitalize on the Eagles turnover.

This was one of several calls made by the officials that made it look like they were trying to give the game to the Eagles. How can a drive that starts on the 30 yard line have a first down at the 39 1/2 yard line. I was taught a first down is every 10 yards. Also, how can any official call a touchdown when the receiver right in front of him never gets one foot down in the endzone?
